Free fiction, introducing Dancillius Hrekt, Monster Fighter

In what should have been tagged our 7th Round of free fiction, we have a new story with a new character in a world that’s still fairly new. As with all of the Chain Story Project fiction, this piece is available free for three months. All you have to do is to download it. Dancillius Hrekt is fairly new to the world of Monster Fighting. All he wants to do is to make a good impression with his peers.

And all they want is for him and his best friend to die.

Michael A. Stackpole is a New York Times Bestselling author of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and I, Jedi. His work, the first of which saw print back in 1978, has appeared all over the place and has been translated into a dozen different languages. He’s also the person putting together the Chain Story Project, so is awkwardly writing about himself in the third person, which he does not like, so shall stop now.
