Brought low by the ruthless commander Pallidus, she is left to die upon the shores of a desolate island. Now the tide is rising and demons from the depths hunger for flesh! How will she get outta this pickle, before she becomes a seaside lunch?

About the author: Luana Saitta (she/her) has been writing her whole life, starting with (nominal) X-Files fanfic at age 10 in which Mulder & Scully acted more like Murtaugh & Riggs stuck in a wholesale rip-off of Michael Crichton’s Congo. She made her first sale in 2024, with the short story Love’s Red Blossom, the first of her Zeynep & Kawtar stories.
